Customisation of the UKQCS Care Quality Management System.
There are many sources of generic policies and procedures, which bear no visual indication that they apply specifically to your establishment. A smaller number of sources will supply you with policies and procedures which are totally unchanged except for your establishment name scattered around the documents. Only UKQCS brings you true customisation. We all know that most care policies are standardised; after all we all have to comply with the same legislation. However, we also know that many documents require detailed customisation to make them relevant to your establishment and thereby gain the commitment of your staff. A good example is the Service User's Handbook, which in the UKQCS system contains the statutory documents the Statement of Purpose, Service User Guide and Contract of admission, but wrapped up in a user friendly framework. Click on the image below to see a larger version of the first two pages of an actual Service User Handbook in current use by a client, which illustrates the flexibility of our approach.
The list of customised documents in your UKQCS system includes (not a full list) : - Daycare contract
- Service User's Handbook
- Admission and care planning pack (Assessment pack)
- Annual holiday policy and procedure
- Casual workers policy and procedure
- Employee appearance policy and procedure
- Employee handbook
- Job descriptions
- Recruitment packs
- Statement of Main terms and conditions (commonly referred to as the "contract")
- Temporary workers policy and procedure
- Training policy and procedure
- Working time regulations policy and procedure
