How much time and money do you spend writing and updating your care home or care agency policies and procedures?  Do you really know they are legally compliant and best practice?  How much do you worry if you have missed something, or got something wrong?

The UKQCS care quality management system is available combined with expert and practical on site implementation support, follow on consultancy support, and even the availability of your own insured HR advisor.

The unique UKQCS system provides you with an online, fully customised care home or care agency policy and procedure manuals, covering all aspects of care provision via your own web site managed by UKQCS, backed up by a paper manual.

Not only that, but your system is fully CSCI complaint, constantly updated, and you and your staff always know what has been updated, and who has read the update.

The UKQCS Care Quality Management System is a quality assurance system conforming to international standards of quality management, providing you with everything you need for CSCI's (also CSIW, and the Care Commission) definition of quality assurance and beyond.  The System has for many years been based on a self-development model, which in 2007 fits neatly and easily into the Annual Quality Assurance Assessment framework which underpins your Star Rating achievement.  In technical terms it is a Total Quality Management (TQM) system.

The unique features of the UKQCS system are:

  • Fully compliant with Care Standards Act 2000, Regulations, and Minimum Standards, health and safety, food hygiene, medicines, employment, fire safety and all other law as it affects the care provider.

  • Provides everything you need for completing your AQAA, updated fully in line with the registering authority expectations, allowing you to complete an excellent AQAA with less fuss and stress. We even provide you a part completed AQAA template based on your UKQCS policies and procedures.

  • Compliant with quality standards such as CSCI Star Rating, Investors in People, Investors in Excellence, RDB Star Rating, ISO9001:2000.

  • Published online, with your own web site; you, your staff and managers can access all files from anywhere with internet access. We also supply you with paper manual(s) at a small additional cost.

  • Customised to your service; your service name appears throughout, all personnel forms are tuned to your particular employment conditions, and we provide you with a comprehensive and fully customised Service User's Handbook (includes statutory Statement of Purpose and Service User's Guide, and terms and conditions of admission) and Employee Handbook and much much more.

  • Implementation consultancy package available as an optional extra; a highly experienced consultant will visit your establishment over a period of months to guide you through a thorough implementation of the management system to ensure that your investment quickly reaps the maximum benefit to you.

  • Staff login allows staff access to the documents they need, from anywhere with a PC with internet access, and their manager can assign them particular documents to read and check if they have or have not read them.  Ideal for staff training, induction, performance management and supervision. The "anywhere there is a PC with internet" staff access is very popular with NVQ candidates who are able to much more easily complete those assignments which require knowledge of and access to their employers' policies and procedures.

  • The individual and personal entry page for each staff member immediately informs them of any new messages, policies, or updates, making it child's play to keep well informed.

  • Managers can leave messages for individual staff, and vice versa, or for all staff.

  • the policy set is comprehensive , covering administration, care, catering, housekeeping and laundry, maintenance, and personnel/HR.

  • The system includes all the policies and procedures you will ever need, together with all the forms to suit, and all of them are consistent with each other.

  • You can print everything from a single page to a full manual and everything in between, and always be totally assured that what you print is the very latest version available and right up to date.  You can even copy the forms over to Microsoft Word so that you can enter data into them and save them locally.

(First registered establishment. Minimum contract 12 months)

 

Annual Subscription - £480

(2nd and subsequent registered establishments, up to 10. Minimum contract 12 months)

The UKQCS Management System is based on the same underlying quality assurance principles as the RDB scheme, and is approved by them as a service to support their clients to achieve improved results.
